We bought our farm in 1994 because we'd simply outgrown our vegetable garden and wanted to continue growing more chemical free food for our own use. People started asking to buy some of our home grown vegetables, and we began offering CSA shares of our ever-larger crop. We expanded our offerings to include naturally raised beef, chicken and pork.
We no longer offer vegetable shares, but we continue to carefully and naturally manage our pasture lands for maximum soil health and nutrition for our animals. This is a true family farm, with calves nursing at least 6-8 months from birth, and cows, chickens and pigs rotating through grazing lands throughout the farm.
